Marietta, GA – Today, Representative Lucy McBath (GA-06) highlighted the success of her office’s constituent services program in its mission to provide federal casework assistance to the people of Georgia’s Sixth District. Since the beginning of this year, the congresswoman’s office has worked with more than 3,000 residents who have contacted her office to request assistance through this program. In addition, these services have resulted in savings of more than one million dollars in recovered federal benefits for residents.

“I am so proud to represent the people of the Sixth District and provide tangible relief to members of our community,” McBath said. “Since taking office, my staff and I have worked hard to help thousands of constituents navigate federal casework issues and secure their well-earned benefits. Every dollar recovered through our casework program is a dollar back in the pocket of a hard-working Georgian.”

McBath’s Sandy Springs District Office continues to build off of its success and advocate on behalf of constituents involving matters of the federal government, including the Social Security Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Internal Revenue Service. Here are some success stories from constituents who shared feedback about their experience with McBath’s office.
