Tours & Tickets

The U.S. Capitol is available for public tours Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please note that the last guided tour begins at 3:20 pm. You may reserve a tour through the CVC website using this link. For inquiries regarding staff-led tours, please indicate your interest in the tour request form below.

The FBI Headquarters runs tours Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding Federal Holidays. It is our hope that the FBI Experience can accommodate as many requests as possible. Due to the high volume of requests and limited space on the tour, we cannot guarantee that your request will be approved. FBI Tour requests must be submitted at least 28 days in advance to accommodate time to conduct background checks for all attending guests. (Additionally, visitors over the age of 16 will need to provide a government issued photo ID, as well as their social security number.)

The Library of Congress is open to visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note that last entry is at 4:30 pm.

UPDATE ON WHITE HOUSE TOURS (November 2025)

We’re pleased to announce that White House tours will resume on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 with an updated tour route. All December tours will feature the annual White House Holiday decorations. Per White House Guidelines, each reservation has a maximum of six tickets. Due to the high volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that your request will be approved.

The tour portal will reopen in mid-to-late December for 2026 tour requests. Larger group requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the White House Visitors Office. While it is our hope that the White House Visitors Center will accommodate as many requests as possible, the final decision as to whether its Visitors Office can accommodate your party is theirs.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.

White House tours may be submitted up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 3 weeks before the requested tour date.
