As part of her work on the House Judiciary Committee, the Congresswoman has passed a law to protect federal prison staff and incarcerated individuals. She was also proud to vote to codify marriage equality into law, because all of us should have equal rights and opportunity—no matter who you are or who you love.

She and House Democrats continue to defend the sacred right to vote and fight to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to restore federal protections at the ballot box.
