Interns with the offices of Rep. Lucy McBath will get a firsthand look at how the U.S. House of Representatives works. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available during the Fall, Spring, and Summer in the Washington, D.C. and Georgia district offices.

Interested in learning about the legislative process and how a congressional office functions? Interns in the Washington, DC office will research legislation, attend hearings and briefings, draft written materials, and answer constituent calls about the diverse issues before the House.
Interns will be given a stipend for the session. The internship program runs throughout the year for undergraduate, graduate students, or recent graduates. Office hours are generally 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Georgia District Office
Interested in learning about how an in-district congressional office works? Interns in the District office will assist the outreach staff, provide support to the casework team, and aid with community outreach events.
The internship program runs throughout the year for undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates. Office hours are generally 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
