February 8, 2022

Sandy Springs, GA — Today, Congresswoman Lucy McBath released her second video highlighting her Constituent Services Program based out of her Sandy Springs district office. This video tells the story of Margaret and Raul Ramirez. Raul Ramirez is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. The Ramirez family contacted Representative McBath to request assistance getting needed approval from the Department of Veterans Affairs for the Community Care program at a critical time in Raul’s health treatment plan. Margaret and Raul’s story can be viewed here or below.

“Every veteran who served our country deserves prompt, courteous, and thorough care from our Department of Veterans Affairs,” said McBath. “I was thrilled to speak up on Raul’s behalf when he felt like he wasn’t getting any answers from the Atlanta VA Medical Center. If you are dealing with a federal agency and cannot seem to make any progress with your inquiries and you feel stuck, my office is here to help.”

Any Sixth District resident in need of federal casework assistance is encouraged to contact McBath’s Sandy Springs district office by calling (470) 773-6330 or by visiting mcbath.house.gov/help-with-a-federal-agency
