Washington, DC — Congresswoman Lucy McBath is announcing more than $223 million in federal funds, benefits, and grants secured by her office for Georgia’s families during the 118th Congress. As part of the historic work of the United States Congress and the Biden-Harris Administration in the past two years, McBath helped send more than $67 billion in federal investments to the state of Georgia.
“As a member of Congress, it’s important that I bring back as many federal resources to Georgia as possible. We were incredibly successful in the 118th Congress, delivering hundreds of millions of dollars to keep our communities safe and prosperous,” said McBath. “I’m also very humbled that our office’s dedicated casework program was recognized for providing the Best Constituent Services and recovered millions in federal benefits for our neighbors. As always, I sought common-ground for Georgia’s families and passed four bills into law. None of this could be possible without the engagement of my constituents, so I extend my gratitude to you all for being a part of our mission and ushering in a future we can all be proud to share with our families.”

“Your office’s intervention was crucial in ensuring my nephew received a fair chance during his visa interview. Specifically, you facilitated communication with the US Embassy in Kathmandu, which made a significant difference in the processing and outcome of his application. Your efforts expedited the process and provided us with clear guidance and support throughout. Without your office’s assistance, it is unlikely that we would have achieved such a positive result in a timely manner. Thanks to your help, my nephew is now in the United States and will be completing his residency in Alabama, which is a dream come true for him and our family. We are immensely grateful for your dedication and support.” - Lok from Duluth
“When I first sent an email I was amazed to get a reply within the first 24 hours. Your team constantly monitored my issues with SBA and followed up with updates till the issue got resolved. I was so very impressed with your professionalism and concern for helping in solving my issues with SBA.” - Deepa from Duluth
“My daughter's passport was missing with USPS although I had a tracking number through priority mail. Tracking number was pointing to an endless loop within USPS. I had opened 3 cases and mail intercept per USPS recommendation. They charged me extra for mail intercept on top of priority charges. Since then still no movement/track of my daughter's passport. I made at least 50 phone calls with no answers. Finally I reached out to my Congresswoman's office. And they resolved the matter in a matter of 3-4 days by contacting USPS. We are so relieved that we can travel now. THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's been such a great experience working with your office and staff. You and your staff’s professionalism is just outstanding. Great to have you as my representative.” - Mohammad from Johns Creek
