Sandy Springs, GA — This week, Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-06) announced Service Academy nominations for the 2021 academic year. In total, 28 students were selected for nomination to at least one United States Service Academy. Congressional nominations are a critical step in the application process to attend a United States Service Academy. Rep. McBath’s selections have been submitted to each service academy.

“Voluntary military service is a noble American tradition, and I am proud that the Sixth District is home to so many young men and women who wish to serve our country in this way,” McBath said. “The nomination process was rigorous, and each student was determined to possess character befitting of a United States Service Academy nominee. I know these exceptional young people will represent their community and their country well as future leaders.”
