Marietta, GA — This evening, U.S. Representative Lucy McBath held an interactive Infrastructure Town Hall for residents of Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District. The second-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives highlighted the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, passed by Congress and signed into law in November, and the investments it brings to Georgia’s roads, bridges, airports, public transit systems, and electrical grids. More than 2,500 neighbors joined the interactive call to learn about these historic investments from their Congresswoman and ask questions.

“I am so grateful for these opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors in our community and talk about the issues that matter most. Connecting with constituents is truly one of my favorite parts of serving my community,” said McBath. “When I hear from families across the district about the issues that matter most to them, transportation around metro Atlanta is at the top of their minds. At its very core, the investments and the projects in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law are about safety, about efficiency, and about connectivity; connecting the people and places we love, connecting companies and consumers, and connecting families and friends from across America. I’m appreciative of all the members of our community who took time out of their days to join our event.”

Any constituent in need of additional resources or assistance with any federal agency is encouraged to contact Rep. McBath’s Sandy Springs District Office by calling (470) 773-6330 or emailing casework.mcbath@mail.house.gov
