Sandy Springs, GA  — On Sunday, Rep. Lucy McBath (D-Marietta) hosted her third Town Hall meeting at Temple Emanu-El in Sandy Springs with residents of Georgia’s Sixth District. McBath provided the crowd with updates on her work to prevent gun violence, serve veterans, and strengthen health care:

“I want to thank the people of Georgia’s Sixth district for joining me in this conversation about the issues that matter most to our community,” McBath said. “It is so important that we all come together to discuss the ways we can improve the lives of Georgians. My priority has always been listening and understanding the voices of those I represent, and I work every day to address the concerns people have for their families. I appreciate the engagement of so many of my constituents. and I look forward to continuing to listen from, and work on behalf of, Georgia’s Sixth district.”

Rep. McBath was joined by constituents with questions about her bill benefitting veterans recently becoming law, protecting their families from gun violence, investment in local  infrastructure projects, Georgia small businesses, investigations and government oversight, current events, and upcoming legislation in the House of Representatives.
