Sandy Springs, GA — Yesterday, Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-06) joined WestRock, headquartered in Georgia’s Sixth District, for a Town Hall with employees and district residents. This is the 13th Town Hall she has participated in this Congress.
“I truly enjoy hearing from our community about the issues that matter most. It’s conversations like these that shape our community and drive my work to pursue common-sense solutions that protect our families, lower health care costs, uplift our veterans, and support our local businesses,” said McBath. “I want to give my sincerest appreciation to everyone in our community for their continued efforts during this pandemic, and thank all those at WestRock for going above and beyond to connect people with the products they need during this pandemic. All your tireless efforts are keeping our country strong.”
“Congresswoman McBath’s remarks this morning at our Virtual Town Hall were tremendously inspiring! Her journey and the incredible obstacles she has overcome in her life are profoundly admirable. We look forward to sharing our perspectives with her on issues affecting WestRock and Georgia’s 6th Congressional District,” said Steve Voorhees, CEO of WestRock.
The event served as an opportunity for attendees to hear the latest community updates from their member of Congress.
