Washington, DC — This evening, Rep. Lucy McBath held an interactive Telephone Town Hall for Georgia’s new Sixth Congressional District, which includes portions of Cobb, Fulton, Douglas, and Fayette counties. Roughly 6,000 participants joined the event. During a time of uncertainty for many in the Metro Atlanta area, McBath answered questions and offered resources through her award-winning constituent services program. She also highlighted her office’s work during her six years in Congress so far, including the twelve bills she has led into law.

“These town halls are a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community at a time when many have questions. Families in Georgia are dealing with uncertainty about the executive orders from the new administration and are rightfully concerned about attacks on the vital services that our federal government provides to Americans,” said McBath. “I am grateful for the chance to speak with one another when my time is needed to vote up in Washington.”

Any Georgia constituent in need of additional resources or assistance with any federal agency is encouraged to contact Rep. McBath’s new Atlanta District Office by calling (470) 773-6330 or by visiting McBath.House.Gov/Help.
